Milan, Italy. Richard M Trap. . . . PISE

My salutations, this is a little story in picture about our adventure in Europe. I know the color is weird, but it's WHITE, all the monuments is Pise are white of white.

I regrouped a lot of images I took and 4 post cards. Pise is a wonderful small city in the north part of Italy. Almost 3 hours south of Milan. We can see the tower in distance, because they didn't built building higher around Pise. We begin by those 2 post cards I paste together. The surrounding of Pise, the cathedral and the tilted tower.
If you look closer, you can see people on top of it. We can do that anymore. Major modifications are on course to be able to keep the tower. On the next post card, you can see the progression of the tower along the century.

We have taken a lot of picture around, when we arrived near the tower, a lot of cable were there to keep the tower from falling. The little museum of the tower is tilt also. The ground is not stable on this part of Pise.

You can notice the Cathedral with the tower just behind it, it tilt.
You can notice the majestic doors, below I took the doors closer and also a small part of the door. Notice the details. Above doors, the magnificent stony work, which is very visible with bare eye. You have the upper part of the door and a plan of the facade of Cathedral.

Cathedral was built with worn stones resulting from all the places in Italy. You can notice the carvings.

This Pise's building is very particular, you can notice the carvings on every floor. According to Nathalie it's very rare to find so much carving on a building.
