Milan, Italy. Richard M Trap. . . . * MILAN *

My salutations, this is the part, in pictures, of the European Town. We stop today in Milan: A lot of picture of the town and some explications. If you want to zoom the picture just click on it and to return just click on back.

Start with the best, the Duomo. Look at the architecture of this big Cathedral is stone build in the 10th century.

When we walk on the Duomo's Place, we can remark the Gallery Victor Emmanuel II, a masterpiece for architecture, it consist to join a lot of store under an enormous glass dome. Also, the marvellous stone floor "DESIGN", and the Christmas decorations around the Duomo's Place.

When you get out of the Gallery Victor Emmanuel II, we arrived on Leonardo Da Vinci's Place, a statue stand there in honor of the great inventor, at the moment (August) it's the war zone, they redo from A to Z the pavement, lucky you I took the picture before the construction.

Across the street from Leonardo Da Vinci's Place, you found the famous La Scala theator, we've never been there to see a concert or a spectacle yet, but in automn we should check for one. The front is simple but the interior is marvellous, that's what we know. You have a picture of the street on the right with the old Tramway.

Take the subway to go to the Central Train Station of Milan. The subway in Milan is very clean and safe, except some design on the wall. With is bright yellow, on this picture, in reality there is 2 identicals pictures, but when I scan them, the scanner was jam and the result was funny, so I insert it. Also, with no trick for myself, I only whant to take a picture of the Mini-Austin 2000, and when I reveived the picture I notice that Armani do the thing with class in Milan.

The town of Milan is surround by mountains. When the sky is clear on the top of the Duomo, we can see the Alpes. Those pictures were took in my office of Galbani International, 16th floor. With clear sky and foggy sky. To took the picture of the mountains is difficult, those are the best I took. There's almost clouds over the mountains. in the morning around 6h00, and clear sky, we can see them from my street, but when the SMOG goes up, around 10h00, we loose them for the day. There's a lot of pollution in Milan compare to Montréal. Here all the car are always grey.

The weather in Milan is very confortable from september to may. In septembre and Octobre, a lot of rain. From november to mars, a lot of fog, the coldest is around 0C. From april to may, rainny, but not that much. From june to august, very HOT, to 38C in august and a lot of mosquitos.
