The RTT Group is currently one of the leading Italian groups specialised in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solutions. The result of a merger between two firms operating in the J.D. Edwards environment, the RTT Group was born at the end of 1996. One of the firms, founded and run by Andrea Ghezzi and subsequently supported by Carlo Magagnoli, represents the consulting side of the group. The company, which worked for a number of important J.D. Edwards Italy clients and in a brief span of time achieved high growth rates, acquired a position as a leading J.D. Edwards Service Partner. The other firm, run by Mario Firrito and specialised in the technological development of J.D. Edwards systems, found in the Italian market's strong demand for services and technological skills the secret to its success. Franco Accarino joined RTT in 1997, dedicating his energies to the development of the company's commercial strategy. He added to the group's mandate the role of J.D. Edwards Channel Partner (sales of software systems for small and medium enterprises) and put together a comprehensive range of complementary products and services enabling the development of "extended-ERP" solutions. Today RTT numbers more that 150 professional resources (project managers, consultants and technical developers, representing different sectorial backgrounds) who can apply their vast experience to international projects. With several hundred man/years clocked on J.D. Edwards applications and technology, RTT has what it takes to offer the services and products top-notch companies expect. In fact, to further strengthen its offer, RTT has been increasingly involved in developing innovative complementary solutions for front office and e-business process and system design. The group, with some 100 projects to its credit, is rapidly expanding on a pan-European level, confirming its role as partner of choice for a large number of multinational customers.
